Restore, Stabilise & Protect Stored Diesel
Process Overview
Fuel Polishing is a critical maintenance process designed to restore and stabilise the quality of stored diesel fuel. Over time, stored fuel naturally accumulates water, microbial contamination (bacteria and fungi), sludge and solid particles that can compromise engine performance.
Our advanced polishing system uses high-precision multi-stage filtration and water-separation techniques in a controlled, closed-loop process โ returning fuel to its optimal state without costly replacement or disposal.
By maintaining fuel at peak performance, the system protects standby generators, heavy machinery and emergency power assets โ reducing maintenance costs and risks from “diesel bug” or sediment buildup.
Significantly improves the particle cleanliness classification
Drastically reduces water content (ppm) to prevent corrosion and injector damage
Stops bacteria and fungi growth โ the so-called "diesel bug"
Inhibits oxidation and acid formation, preserving long-term fuel integrity
Key Performance Benefits
Closed-loop polishing delivers measurable improvements at every stage โ from particle count to long-term storage stability.
Significantly improves the ISO 4406 particle cleanliness classification, lowering wear in injectors and pumps.
Drastically reduces water content (measured in ppm) to prevent corrosion and protect high-pressure injection components.
Effectively prevents microbial contamination โ halting bacterial and fungal colonies that block filters and corrode tanks.
Inhibits oxidation and acid formation to preserve fuel chemical integrity over long storage periods.
Ensures maximum reliability for critical emergency power systems and large fuel storage assets.
Closed-loop circulation restores fuel without disposal or replacement โ a fraction of replacement cost.
